Connecting with Nature

Solar Electric Consultants
We have used solar power for the last 8 years and if there is one thing we have learned the hard way is there are lots of people who want to get into solar but few who really know how to do it right.  Combine this with our remote location and six months of winter and it gets even more challenging to make solar effective.

Our next challenge that we gave to GroSolar is that the Barn/House is to look rustic in appearance and traditional solar panels are not very rustic looking.

The people we found who know how to get solar right are groSolar, Inc. (formally Global Resource Options) of White River Junction, Vermont.   We think GroSolar is up to the challenge.

The following is from groSolar's website:

There has never been a better time to invest in solar energy for your home.

No matter where you live, groSolar can design a solar energy system that helps you beat the high cost of energy, reduce global warming and secure your family’s future and independence.

groSolar is a leading distributor and installer of state-of-the-art solar energy systems for residential customers. Formerly known as Global Resource Options, groSolar carries forward with the same people and manufacturer relationships, while expanding our capabilities.

We are experts in full-service solar electric and solar hot water system design, installation, and service. The company and the industry have grown radically over the last decade, keeping up with photovoltaic technology. But groSolar remains true to its roots and its principles: providing simple, quality renewable energy options now for a better future.

Social Responsibiltiy at gro:

We are dedicated to the triple bottom line: profit for the company, social justice for our employees and customers and environmental protection. Solar energy allows us to create communities of people, employees, customers, suppliers and others to come together for positive change.
