The location of the barn house is on the original location of a barn that was constructed by the Parks family in the early 1900's. The barn was irreparably neglected and in the early 1990's was destroyed.

In the photo on the left is a view from Clough Way to the barn site. The photo on the right shows a view of the back side of the barn site. Notice the old apple tree. There are over 60 "heritage" apple trees within a few acres of this site which we have freed up from forest growth. These released old apple trees have resumed fruit production and are thoroughly enjoyed by wildlife as well as by us.
In the picture to the left is shown the site where an old barn was. Note what appears to be water pipes. The picture on the right shows where we had excavated the site by hand to salvage any remains of what was in the site.
Above shows what appears to be an old septic holding tank that was probably for a lodge that was near the barn site.
