Our goals are to be completly off the grid and to use all renewable energy. The generator exists as a backup to these systems. If we have to use it then we have not achieved our goal. To say it a bit more frankly and to hold myself and others accountable we have failed if we have to resort to using fossil fuels to operate this building.
